Projects
PMP-aligned project management for scoped client engagements (implementations, migrations, buildouts). Organize work into a WBS task hierarchy with dependencies and milestones, assign a team with cost and billing rates, and track budget-vs-actual job costing across labor, materials, subcontractor, travel, and overhead. Earned value produces on-demand snapshots — BAC, PV, EV, AC, SPI, CPI, EAC, and VAC — for schedule and cost performance. Run formal change control with client e-signature on change orders (name, email, signature, IP captured), with an optional auto-PO on approval. Includes Gantt, kanban, risk register, stakeholders, notes, lessons learned, and profitability views. See Projects.Work orders
Field-execution records for construction and trades — the trades equivalent of a helpdesk ticket. Each work order tracks a job at a physical site from mobilization through closeout across trade-specific phases (mobilize → rough-in → trim-out → termination → testing → punch list → closeout → complete). Assign a crew with roles; when a tech checks in, their time starts, and check-out writes a billable time entry using role bill/cost rates and rolls hours and cost up to the work order automatically. Capture daily logs (weather, work performed, materials, delays, safety), run a punch list of deficiencies, and link work orders to a company, project, bid, and site survey. See Work orders.Time tracking
Live multi-timers and weekly timesheets. Start a timer against a ticket, project task, or site survey — several can run at once, with one focused in the header and the rest ticking in the background. Stopping captures work type, billing role, contract, and product, draws down contract block-hours or retainer coverage automatically, and writes a unified time entry. Entries roll into a Monday–Sunday timesheet for submit, approve, and reject with reason; approved sheets push to QuickBooks Online or export to CSV for payroll. See Time tracking.Team & employees
A lightweight HR record that extends each internal user with the operational data the rest of the platform needs — job title, department, employment type, skills and certifications (with proficiency and expiry), pay rates (hourly, salary, per-diem, or flat, with base and overtime and history), role rates (bill rate plus employee cost rate with computed margin), a 7-day availability template, and time-off requests. Feeds Dispatch (skills for AI tech-matching, availability for load balancing), Time tracking, and work orders (role and cost rates for job costing). See Team & employees.Known limitations
- Projects — invoicing directly from a project isn’t built yet; billing modes (T&M, Fixed Price, Milestone) are stored, but generate the invoice from Quotes & invoices or the contract. EVM snapshots are generated on demand, not on a schedule.
- Work orders — client e-sign-off on closeout isn’t available yet; advance the phase to complete instead. Punch-item photo attachments aren’t wired yet.
- Time tracking — QuickBooks push is optional and best-effort; if it isn’t configured or a push fails, the timesheet stays Approved (not Pushed) and the error is recorded for retry — approval is never blocked.
- Team & employees — this is a system of record only; no payroll processing or PTO accrual math.
