# Mobile app

> The NEXOS CORE field-tech companion — a task feed, timers, and timesheets on your phone

NEXOS CORE Mobile is a field-tech companion that runs in your phone's browser
and installs to your home screen as an app (a Progressive Web App). It's built
around what a technician needs in the field — a prioritized task feed, work
timers, and timesheets — not a shrunk-down copy of the desktop.

## Accessing it

Open the site on a phone and you're redirected automatically to the mobile app
at **`/m/`**. Sign in with your normal NEXOS CORE credentials, then use your
browser's **Add to Home Screen** to install it — it opens full-screen like a
native app. There's no app-store download.

## When to use it

* Check "what do I need to do right now" from the field.
* Start and stop a work timer against a ticket or task from your phone.
* Review and submit your weekly timesheet on the go.
* Triage your assigned tickets and read their notes.

## Task feed

The home screen is a **unified task feed** that pulls your work into **Urgent /
Today / This week** buckets from across the platform:

* your assigned open tickets,
* your assigned project tasks,
* escalated tickets,
* pending security remediations.

It also shows your hours today and this week, and flags a timesheet that was
sent back for changes.

## Timers

Start, pause, resume, and stop a work timer linked to a ticket or project task.
Timers are **server-side and shared with the desktop** — a timer you start on
your phone shows up on your desktop and vice-versa. Stopping a timer records a
time entry and rolls the hours into the linked task.

## Timesheet

Review your week Monday–Sunday with per-day and billable totals, then submit it
for approval — all from the phone. It's the same timesheet your approver sees on
the desktop.

## Tickets

See your assigned tickets and open one to read its notes and update its
assignment.

## Notifications

A notifications feed surfaces things that need attention: offline or stale RMM
agents, new and escalated tickets, task assignments, and pending remediations.

<Note>
  Some mobile sections are still being built out — security-ops actions,
  project detail, and purchase orders are not yet available on mobile. Use the
  desktop app for those for now. The task feed, timers, timesheet, and tickets
  are fully functional on mobile.
